Easton Update: January 18, 2007

Well the big 07 is here. Hope everyone had a great Christmas/ Holidays and New Years. Easton was spoiled again this year. Our house seems to be getting smaller and smaller with all the new toys Easton receives at this time of year. Tami and I have to go throughh all his toys that he's grown out of. I'm sure he'll put up a fight as we begin to put them away even though he doesn't play with a lot of the toys that are geared towards the 0-1 age group. He loves trucks and his tool sets and is very helpful around the house. Helping put stuff in the garbage/recycling bin, emptying the dishwasher and carrying stuff around for us is all a part of his week. He still isn't talking but like we've said for the past half year, it seems to be just around the corner for the words to start flying out of his mouth.

As you can see from the photos below Easton had a lot of fun handing out and opening presents this past Christmas. Tami bought him some skates (the kind that strap onto your boots). Hopefully when it gets a little warmer outside we can head down to the outdoor rink. Don't worry, we also bought him a little helmet to keep him safe. It also seems like he has unlimited energy. He still isn't very interested in watching TV. He's content dragging us through the house to feed the cats, play downstairs on the couch cushions (which by the way must go on the floor now), and take DVD's out of their cases and hide them around the basement.

Oh, he also likes helping baba make cookies during the day. There's so much more I could go on about. He just seems to be getting more indepentent every day, now only if he would say a few words. :-)

Take care,
Mark, Tami and Easton
