One more month until Easton turns 3 years old. Tami's been asking him what type of cake he would like and he specifically tells her a blue cake with Diego on it. Looks like Tami is really going to have to show her art skills on this one. :-)

This past month has been getting better weather wise (as so it should be) and we've had some more time to play outside on the few really nice days. Easton has had a little bit of cold these past few weeks that seems to finally be getting better. You know your child is not feeling well when you ask them if they’re tired around bedtime and they say "Yes". If it was up to Easton he would probably stay up as late as I do. But then I'd never get to play the PS3, because we'd be stuck watching the Treehouse channel. Which by the way has Easton's favourite shows on it, such as; Mighty Machines, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, Max and Ruby. . . and the list goes on. Thankfully with the weather getting nicer, we won't be confined to the house as much and maybe the cold season will finally let up.

Even with all the television Easton has started to read (well pretend to read). We think he actually just remembers what we say as we read his books and is able to repeat what's on the page from some of his favourite books. He also likes to point out all the school buses, buses, trucks and construction vehicles we spot driving around the city. Potty training is going really well and Easton is in big boy underwear during the day and evening. I can't tell you how much we save in diapers, but it's a lot.

Also keep in mind there is only one more Easton update before we transition over the new baby blog sometime in June. The last update will be on his third Birthday, which will also have a page set up for the next "Baby Guessing Game". Mental note, I should get working on that. And don't worry, the new baby website will have links to Easton's website just in case you also like to go through the past three years, as I do from time to time. It's actually quite fun looking back and seeing how much he's changed and wonder what I was thinking when writing some of the updates. :-)
