Easton Update: October 18, 2006

Well here we are again and Easton is now 1 1/2 years old. Easton is having more fun than ever and he tries to climb everything now. We will have to be more careful of what might actually tip over around the house. His teeth are coming in like crazy too. He has twelve teeth now and likes to try to bite our fingers (not all the time, so visitors shouldn't worry). He still isn't talking much, but he gets the job done by gesturing. I am pleased to announce that he has learned to shake his head to say "yes". He had shaking his head "no" for a while now.

At this age he definitely knows what he wants. And they learn so quickly. I showed him how to turn our digital camera on and off and take pictures. He just had to see me do it a couple of times and he got busy taking a ton of "up the nose" shots of himself (as you can see from one of the pictures below). He did manage to take a couple nice pictures of the basement too. :)

Swimming has also started up again which he enjoys a lot. This past weekend we took some family pictures in a park. Hopefully some of them turn out. It's definitely not easy trying to get 1 1/2 year old to cooperate when there's a lot of open space for them to run around in. I'll put some of those images up later when we get them. That's it for now. Take care.
