Easton Update: November 18, 2007

This is the big Halloween update. Easton was Thomas the Tank Engine (A.K.A., Thomas the Train) for Halloween this year. He had a pretty good haul for the 45 minutes we walked around as Tami handed out candy at home. But seeing that we wouldn't want him to eat all the candy by himself, Tami and myself (well mostly myself) will help him get rid of some of those tasty treats.

We made it around most of Kirkham Bay before he started to get tired. Then I asked him if he wanted to go trick or treating at our old house, which is just around the block. We made it over but when we were on the front step he was looking inside the window with these puppy dog eyes wanting to go inside. I told him that wasn't our house anymore and he basically dropped to his knees whimpering. I figure he wanted to see his old bedroom, but the women at the door would probably have been freaked out if we asked to take a look around. Anyhow, he walked the rest of the way home with teary eyes. But when we got home and he dumped out his candy bag, he was like WOW!!! We let him have one candy that night and a few more since then.

Other than that we've been basically waiting for it to snow. And finally today we got some. Easton helped shovel the snow on the driveway. It wasn't much but at least he got to test out his shovel. Tami also added more Christmas lights on the bushes, which he likes. Below are the pictures of Easton and I carving a pumpkin for Halloween.

Take care,
Mark, Tami and Easton
